Jaxon Landfair Humanitarian Scholarship
The Jaxon Landfair Humanitarian Scholarship honors former Basha High School student Jaxon Landfair. During Jaxon’s attendance at Basha High School he was involved in Marching Band, Concert Band, and Multimedia Film. In November 2018 he was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) and finished out that school year off campus. His battle with cancer did not deter him from fully enjoying life and his intent was to pursue a career in Law Enforcement after college. He never lost hope and always maintained a positive outlook on life. When Make-a-Wish asked Jaxon what his wish was, he wanted “something that would last” and he was not interested in meeting any celebrity, or going on a trip, or buying anything. After a couple of weeks of consideration he decided to create a scholarship for his fellow students to attend college. On September 9th 2019, Jaxon passed away due to the effects of cancer and cancer treatments. This scholarship honors the incredible life of Jaxon Landfair as he continues to impact all of our lives.
