Nearly $100,000 in Donor Scholarships Available For CUSD Seniors

Chandler Education Foundation launches Donor Scholarship application process for students graduating from Chandler Unified High Schools in 2024. 
 

Chandler, AZ – December 06, 2023 – The Chandler Education Foundation (CEF) is pleased to announce the commencement of the scholarship application process for 2024, offering approximate $100,000 in funding for graduating seniors from Chandler Unified High Schools. These scholarships, ranging from $500 to $3,000 per award, are made possible through generous donations from CEF partner organizations and individuals.  

Jen Hewitt, Executive Director of the Chandler Education Foundation expresses pride in CEF’s role as the facilitator for scholarships that not only provide financial support to promising CUSD graduates, but also honor the legacies of esteemed Chandler citizens.  

Separate from CEF’s IMPACT scholarships which are funded through the Foundation’s annual Winner’s Choice Car or Cash Raffle, the Donor scholarships are individually established, funded, and awarded. Some scholarships are maintained by organizations such as the Sun Lakes Breakfast Lions Club which provides a $1,000 award to a CUSD senior who is bound for trade school. Others are spearheaded by individuals like Mr. Bob Rice, a former CEF Board member and long-time supporter of Chandler Unified Schools. Mr. Rice leads the funding of five different scholarships, including the Battle for Arizona Avenue, awarded to a football player at both Hamilton and Chandler High Schools, and the Rotary Leadership scholarship which has four available awards.  

Chandler Unified Superintendent, Frank Narducci, expressed gratitude for the Foundation, stating, “CUSD is fortunate to have the support of the Chandler Education Foundation, its Board of Directors, and generous Donors. These scholarships underscore the remarkable achievements of our graduates and offer significant support to our families.”  

Seniors interested in applying for these scholarships can visit the CEF Scholarships page for instructions on how to apply and access to the online application platform. Many scholarships offer multiple awards, and applicants are eligible to receive more than one scholarship.  

The deadline for submitting the application and all supporting documentation is 11:59pm on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Evaluation of Information Protection Practices -- Periodically, our operations and business practices are reviewed for compliance with organization policies and procedures governing the security, confidentiality and quality of our information. Employee Access, Training and Expectations -- Our organization values, ethical standards, policies and practices are committed to the protection of user information. In general, our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons, processes and transactions.
  10. How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
  11. Do We Disclose Information to Outside Parties? We may provide aggregate information about our customers, sales, website traffic patterns and related website information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data, except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy.

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.
